Norcal StrongStyle 5 sponsorship qualifiers (updated)

Hello everyone.

Before I actually start to post on the rules, date, time, location and all the other specifics of this tournament, I want to check how many people are actually interested in attending this tournament and traveling to California to compete.
Strongstyle has been one of the most competitive tekken exclusive tournament in USA for a couple of years now, with many players from Korea, japan, and of course the whole USA. It's a chance that our players shouldn't miss too, but I'm just not sure how many of you will be interested since it will cost quite a bit to travel there.

Things that you need to know:
1. The winner of this tournament is gauranteed $500 usd. If I can give the winner more, I will.
2. The winner will get the money when they arrive in California. This is to make sure that the winner goes.
3. The winner must have a valid passport.
4. The winner must take care and apply for their own visa to enter USA. I will be providing evidence to try to help you get your visa, but we will not be paying for your visa fees.

Now on a lighter note, the winner will get free lodging so they would not have to worry about that. I will also be taking them out with whatever international players are attending the tournament.

So before I decide to do this, I want to see a show of hands and interests. Paying for half a (gauranteed, if not more) ticket to travel across the world to play with some of the best players is a hard chance to come by. Please consider and let me know. Thank you!

รายละเอียดคร่าวๆมีดังนี้
1. ผู้ที่ชนะในการแข่งครั้งนี้จะได้รับเงินสดเป็นจำนวน 500 USD (ประมาณ 15000 บาท) เพื่อเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายเผื่อเดินทางไปอเมริกา แปลว่า ผู้ชนะจะต้องออกเองส่วนนึงเพื่อเป็นค่าเดินทาง
2. ผู้ที่ชนะในการแข่งครั้งนี้จะได้รับเงินสดเป็นจำนวน 500 USD ต่อเมื่อเดินทางไปถึงอเมริกาแล้วเท่านั้น ไม่มีการจ่ายก่อน เพื่อเป็นการยืนยันว่ามาได้จริง
3. ผู้ที่จะมาร่วมแข่งต้องมี Passport ที่ใช้งานได้
4. ผู้ที่ชนะในการแข่งครั้งนี้จะต้องดำเนินเรื่อง และ เอกสาร รวมทั้งเสียค่าใช้จ่ายในการทำ วีซ่า เข้า อเมริกาเอง ทางพี่เหมา จะช่วยทำเอกสารยืนยันในการดำเนินเรื่องให้ แต่จะไม่รับผิดชอบเรื่องค่าธรรมเนียมการทำ วีซ่า และไม่ได้พาไปทำด้วยเช่นกัน (หากทำวีซ่าไม่ผ่าน เหมือนกรณีที่เบล เจอมาก็จำเป็นจะต้องเลือกคนอื่นมาแทน)

สรุปคร่าวๆ ผู้ที่สนใจจะร่วมงานนี้ควรเข้าใจก่อนว่า
1. งานแข่งนี้เป็นแค่การช่วยเหลือ เงิน ครึ่งนึง เพื่อนเดินทางไปแข่งต่อที่เมกา
2. เงินจะได้ต่อไปถึงเมกาเท่านั้นแปลว่า คุณต้อง Advance เงินตัวเองไปก่อน ในเรื่องของตั๋วเครื่องบิน
3. พี่เหมายินดีที่จะให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านที่พัก เพราะสามารถ ไปอยู่กับพี่เหมาที่บ้านได้ ดังนั้นค่าใช้จ่ายเรื่องที่พักถือว่า เซฟไปได้เยอะ เช่นกัน
4. ค่า กิน อยู่ และอื่นๆ ต้องออกเอง
5. ส่วนค่าเดินทางไปแข่ง พี่เหมาจะเป็นคนขับรถพาไป ดังนั้นเรื่องนี้ไม่ต้องเป็นห่วง
6. ความเสี่ยงอยู่ที่การทำ วีซ่าให้ผ่าน

When is NorCal? and how long will we have to be there? need to see if it interfere with work or not

Strongstyle will happen somewhere between April-June of 2011 most likely. It's still in the planning stages because there is much to be done. I just need to get the qualifiers done (if there is to be one) while I'm still here in Thailand. Just know that this tournament will not be like the usual majors. Bronson and Subt-l are really trying to make this event more special than it ever has been. If I don't see enough people interested I'm just going to go ahead and cancel the event here.
